Deep in the Heart of Nowhere is ex-Boomtown Rats lead singer Bob Geldof's first solo studio album. It was released in 1986 with the main single being 'This Is the World Calling' and 'Love Like a Rocket' being a later single. It was remastered and re-released in 2005 with his (at the time) 3 other solo albums as part of The Great Songs of Indifference: The Anthology 1986-2001 collection, and included 4 bonus tracks.
